We had a turnout of 13 skippers and the club would like to thank those that travelled a distance to come and compete with us, thanks fellas. The gentleman with the dog whose name is “Kimba” came all the way from Russell Island and travelled via ferry so this just goes to show that the event next Sunday at Karragarra Island can easily be accessed with your Dragon in tow as well.

The winds remained fairly constant all day and there was some terrific sailing to be seen. We had 3 new skippers on the water and I guess they may have been fairly nervous but everyone was made aware of their presence on the course and all possible courtesies were extended to them.

I hope you enjoyed yourselves guys. Congratulations to Mike Jeffreys, Mick Wall, and Ian Ashe for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd. It doesn’t matter where you placed the main thing at BRYC is that everyone had a great time and it was pleasant to see the newbies getting no end of help at the beginning of the day with their boats.

Till next time stay above the water.

Paul.
